IFRA compliant
All Aura House fragrance oils are formulated in compliance with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards. IFRA sets global guidelines for safe concentrations of fragrance ingredients, ensuring our oils meet rigorous safety thresholds for home diffusion.
Every oil in our collection is reviewed against current IFRA standards before it reaches your diffuser. We reformulate when standards update so you always receive oils that meet the latest safety requirements.
Clean at Sephora standards
Our fragrance oils are formulated to meet Clean at Sephora standards. That means we avoid more than 50 ingredient categories commonly restricted under the Clean at Sephora framework, including parabens, phthalates, sulfates SLS and SLES, and formaldehyde-releasing agents.
Clean at Sephora is a retail ingredient standard. Aura House is not sold at Sephora, but we hold our oils to the same ingredient restrictions for transparency and peace of mind.
Safe for pets
Aura House oils are designed for safe use around pets when used as directed. Keep diffusers in well-ventilated areas, use recommended diffusion settings, and ensure pets can leave the room if they choose.
Some pets — especially cats and birds — can be more sensitive to fragrance. If your pet shows signs of discomfort (lethargy, coughing, or avoiding a room), reduce diffusion intensity or pause use and consult your veterinarian.
Never apply fragrance oils directly to pet fur or skin, and keep oil bottles out of reach of curious paws.
Allergens & sensitivities
Fragrance oils contain naturally occurring and synthetic compounds that may trigger sensitivities in some individuals. If you have known allergies or respiratory conditions, start with lower diffusion settings and shorter sessions.
